Early Tee Time by stray_shooter

Early Tee Time

Every weekend I get together with friends for a morning round of golf. It's really just an excuse to get together to enjoy the 19th hole where large quantities of drink, lies, and laughs are consumed.
These days, for those of us in the northern hemisphere, the days are a bit short, which means it's sometimes a little dark and foggy at tee time. There are groups who start an hour before us, teeing off in the dark, then proceeding down the fairway with lanterns, flashlights, torches. I would require several large searchlights I believe.
incredible picture! it's like a scene from the movie!

What a great shot. Fabulous lighting and the various layers as you move from foreground to background. Did I really say all that?
Remember Ron, when you are hitting your driver 300mtrs you can play with us. :-)
And tell that guys on the tee his stance is terrible

Beautiufl picture, with the two layers of people in different lights and then the great foggy background. Fav

See what I mean?! Golf wins! No matter the time of day or the weather conditions! This is a lovely shot, I love the sunlight.

Kas
Very early indeed! The morning mist is still hanging around the grounds.

The light is almost magical - nice one.

@olenadole Thank you for your comments Nadiya. Good to hear from you.

@nearlyincontrol Thanks so much for dropping in to view and comment.

@terryliv Wow, so analytical. Who is this really? I think the day I hit that driver 300 m is the day the wind is behind me and blowing somewhere around 130 mph. And yes, that dude does not really have a proper spine angle, does he? This course is not known for its talented golfers. Lots of "fores!" echo through the trees. One of our guys took a drive to the stomach a few weeks ago. Luckily is was a soft landing.

@caterina Thanks so much for the in depth review! And for the fav!

@louannwarren Ha, ha. I had to laugh at your depiction of golfers and sailors, both passions to which I am devoted. You're so right! Thanks, Lou Ann.

@summerfield Yeah, we were kind of saying the same thing, but mostly because they were not the quickest folks on the course. Thanks for stopping by Vicky.

@pcoulson Thanks Peter, nice comments. And my balls are colorful, but not luminous. ;)

@tunia Thank you kindly Tunia. Had I not been a 365 member I probably wouldn't have given the scene much of a thought at all.
January 16th, 2018
@wag864 Thanks Kas. That mist is kind of cool....until it inhibits your ability to find the ball!
January 16th, 2018
@runner365 Thanks Claes, as I mentioned to Tunia, if not for 365 I probably would not have taken note of the scene. That's why I love 365!

@cjphoto Thanks Chris - obviously we were facing east! I appreciate the comments.
