Stormy Monday

A little drama in the sky added to this coastline shot. This time of year is when the torch lilies are in full bloom. And full disclosure, this was taken on a Tuesday.......but uploaded on Monday - does that count?

@yorkshirekiwi’s right! This is a beautiful photo. My mother moved to El Cajon in the 70’s for about ten years. The first time I visited her I was amazed at the gorgeous landscaping just growing wild alongside the highways, it still amazes me.

@pcoulson Thanks so much Peter. Oddly enough, I was with my photography class, the group heading down toward the beach for some evening shoots, when I noticed this view and stopped for a shot. The teacher remarked how she had not noticed this view previously and loved it - so much that she returned again the next evening for a better sunset shot! Must be learning something!
