Laguna Beach is a community known for its many artists, so it's not unusual to see said artists out practicing their craft. What really caught my eye, though, was the seeming out of place selfie being captured in the same setting. Art of a different kind I guess.
girl's not wearing knickers. i don't know but that's the first thing that caught my eye! maybe because that brush looks like it's going to poke her rear end. sorry, my eyes and imagination get to see the weird before the main picture! aces!
Lots to see here! I noticed the selfie being taken straight away and wondered what’s behind everyone or is it just the artists they wanted in the selfie? I can never understand the selfie obsession! Just turn round and take a proper picture! Lol!
Very interesting candid street shot well notice Ron so much going on in the shot, what struck me was the Selfie couple with big warm boots on three people with big warm coated on and presumably the Britsh tourist in his short sleeved shirt:)
@pamknowler Thanks Pam. Yeah, the selfie thing is something I just don't get either. What's especially crazy about this one is the direction they are facing has all of the great scenery, the ocean, the beach, etc. Somehow I the scenery is a thing that's of absolutely no importance to the dedicated selfie taker.
@maggiemae Exactly right, Maggie! As I just said to Pam above, they were turned in the exact opposite direction of the great background. Never occurred to them I guess.
@pcoulson@cjphoto It was one of those "tweener" days where it was cool in the morning (well, cool by So Cal standards anyway), but warming up during the day. This was shot in the early afternoon and it was warming up a bit. I myself only had a light shirt on - and shorts of course! Thanks for your comments guys!
@tunia Truth be told, I'm not sure I noticed the selfies when I was taking the shot. I think it was only when looking through my photos on the laptop that the girls caught my eye. You never quite know what you're going to get when you take those street shots! Thanks, Tunia.
