The Yoke's on You

This week's 52 week challenge is eggs. As Easter is still a little ways off, I didn't have any colorful hard boiled eggs to use as my subject. So I decided to combine breakfast and a photo session.
Fantastic image and timing Ron. FAV

I hope you didn't have to break too many eggs to get this great picture.

Excellent focus on the subject and the all black background really makes the egg stand out.

@taffy Thanks so much Taffy. Pretty sure the term "egg action shot" is not used extensively. ;-)

@louannwarren Ha ha! Thanks, LouAnn, it doesn't get much better than "wowzy." ;-)

@pcoulson Thank you muchly, Peter. I can't truly take credit for it, though. I was having trouble coming up with an idea for the egg concept, and I mentioned it in my photo class and the teacher suggested it. I did one of those, "doh, why didn't I think of that?" head smacks.

@domenicododaro Thanks Dom. Perfect? No way, but I'm appreciative of the kind words/1

@jeneurell Thanks so much Jennifer.

@tunia Thanks Tunia. I only had to break three.....and then I made myself an omelette. A win-win!

@lyndemc Thanks Denise. Oddly enough the background was really a deep navy blue. I had one version where I brought the blue out more, but it just didn't look right. So I toned down the blue and when I saw the "more blacky" version I was sold. You know what they say about never going back.

Amazingly well timed -- surely you had a tripod? I'm so uncoordinated I couldn't have managed such a precise capture!

Absolute perfection! Masterfully done!
