What a perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon. Very effective lighting did you add any sort of lighting effect in processing or is it pretty much as taken?

Lovely shot. I like the way you processed it (if that is what you did) to make it look "old time".

Beautiful. It has a very vintage look about it. Love the processing. Could almost be Brideshead revisited.

Lovely warmth to your shot

This shot reminds me of my grandfather and his mate! They would play chess for hours and talk, I arrived one day , in the middle of a classic battle, my grandmother said that neither one of them wanted to actually win as this may result in the other not wanting to play anymore! 15 years they played and a game was never won! Lovely shot Ian! Thanks for the memory!

Such a lovely dreamy image. So nice to see people take the time to sit and play chess! I love your processing here, Ian. We focus on the couple but they also seem to be excluded from the rest of the world -they are so engrossed in what they are doing :)
