This sculpture celebrates Newport’s long history as a market town, and features a life-size Gloucester Old Spot pig with baskets of fruit and vegetables on its back.
The statue was removed from its home outside the entrance to Newport Market when work was ongoing on Newport’s bus terminus, but was returned on its completion in 2014.
