A wall with a framed hole was set up at a wedding reception. On the table was an old Kodak brownie and a point and shoot digital camera. I think the point was to take pictures with the point and shoot with people on the other side of the wall so it looked like they were in a framed photo on the wall.

I had my wife hold the brownie and I shot it with my camera to try to make it look like she was taking a self portrait with the brownie.
Did the brownie still work... there is one for sale her in Saskatoon that has been tempting me, but I have never had the chance to use one...

Not sure - I took the picture and put it back really fast to try to avoid anyone noticing. I don't think they wanted anyone messing with the brownie, it was just for show.

I don't even know what kind of film a brownie takes. I'm pretty sure it's not 35mm or 120/220. I think it may be a bit difficult to find someone who can develop it.

Thanks. I haven't been on here as long. I started my project on my own website in september 2004. (before this site existed) But I've been slowly adding all my old photos here.

This is a fantastic photo! and it totally looks like she's shooting a self portrait in a mirror, or something- you accomplished your goal :c)
