Sunshine Juice

I joined a camera club a few weeks ago. I don't understand why I have hardly taken any pictures since then. ..apart from it has been horribly grey and uninspiring here and I've had to read the first text book for my new course which is about 20th century art. Nearly every other page of the book has picture of a painting or some other art work and it's very interesting. I now know a little bit more about Mondrian - Jani chose him for the artist challenge recently. I have to write about Ana Mendietas Silueta's, the Yuendumu community's Yarla, Marcel Duchamp's Bottlerack and Barnett Newman's painting called Eve - which makes me feel ill - it's big expanse of red, I don't do red very well.
My shot today is the juice I made to celebrate that the sun had come out. Just as soon as I put the juice on the table to photograph it the sun went in, it went dark and started raining! Don't you just hate that! I 'think' I put in two big rings of pineapple, two massive handfuls of red grapes, several physalis, some red currants, half of a massive pear and half an apple, and Jake poured some syrup from a jar of crystallised ginger and insisted we put two lumps of ginger in it. The grapes didn't whizz very well, you can see the bits, but it was fabulous!
