A cross to bare

I like the angle of the poles here, held up by a matrix of webbing. Although I am not religious, the cross is such a significant symbol. Every time I walk under this bridge I see this cross, it's always a wonder to see such an iconic image in the ordinary
Great pov. So many cool lines going on up there!

Nice take on it, still looking too much in the direction of my work though :)

I love this bridge too, although I have never noticed the cross. I usually come from the other direction....need to look behind me more!

Is is very striking as a religious cross. Although, crosses I'm not keen on for the crucifixion/torture element. I prefer to see a huge mast (without sails, but maybe one day eh) as if it's part a suspended, stretched out boat. A huge galleon in the city.

@sabresun our indigenous have a problem with this bridge, it reminds them of sails, of invasion. I love walking over it and looking up at the masts

Photography does help us to see things that others miss I think.

@seanoneill some people walk around looking at the sidewalk... Or with closed eyes. When you hold a camera, it's magical what you see.

Great pov and lines - that cross sure stands out!!
