A mix of the old and new... my faithful Cannon. My first DSLR, she will always feel like a friend in my hands. The new Sony wasn't as exciting at first but she is growing on me. With my Cannon I was trigger happy, everything was fresh in it's lenses, I enjoyed discovering the world in new ways. I plan on easing into the Sony, learning the ins and outs a little more, using the settings and taking my time. Hoping to be more patient.
@lesip I got the a7iii and although it's crisp and light, there does seem to be something missing. I took a long time making a decision about which camera to get, kept putting it off. Hopefully as time moves on it will become a part of my hand also.
@12dog I will still use the canon for wide angle shots until I replace glass. It has been loved to death and is just holding it together. Hopefully as time moves on the sony will feel like a part of my hand also.
I recently mad the (massive) jump from a Nikon D60 to a Nikon D500. I originally wanted to go with a Olympus mirror less, but the cost of lenses and the lack of used ebay options made the decision for me.
Fun concept though, I am digging out my old starter DSLR that I was able to use "as long as I put it to good use" from my grandmother.
