against the blowing wind

or portrait of a tree in the middle of a snowstorm

on our way back from visiting the grands, we passed by a total white-out area. this tree stood in the middle of a field, the only one not wont to bend in the cruel wind blowing its way. i won't dare ask partner to stop on the shoulder for any photo-taking as the shoulders were icy, so this is another one of my drive-by shots.

Great minimalist shot! So happy to hear that you went to see the grandchildren and happy that you made it home safe despite treacherous conditions!
