angry bird

or portrait of a little sparrow on a very cold sunday morning

there was this tree, bereft of its leaves but teeming with sparrows, unmoving, basking in the light of the morning sun, unmindful of the very cold temperature. and of course, there i was, creeping up to take photos, my fingers numbed from the cold. this one didn't mind my intrusion, but he either looked sad or angry.

This is outstanding. It makes me want black and white shots of my colorful parrots. I've already decided the red macaw has to be for the 14th but maybe some b&w surrounding that date.
