i have many favourite novels, classic lit and contemporary, that has scenes of them in my head. some of those novels had been depicted in movies but sometimes their depiction of a scene that's stuck in my head is not the same.
i had always loved the dysfunctional relationship between catherine earnshaw and heathcliff in the novel 'wuthering heights'. and i have always loved that line from the novel. in fact i thought the last line read "i cannot live without my life, i cannot die without my soul."
this is one of the many shots i took on friday night when @northy and i went to the UofT. i love this shot because the 'ghost' is so well defined against those old stone walls.
I like your quotation and it suits the dark outside with the bright light in the window indicating life and normality! Your ghost is just a thought in the night and with an umbrella, this thought won't get wet!
Really great picture! Northy is a ghost! I think the ghost really sets the mood here...and I think I like her shoes although I can't see them well. They just seem to fit the theme with her fedora and umbrella.
