in the style of fay godwin by summerfield

in the style of fay godwin

after a wonderful day exploring Ross Farm, and blueberry picking, we drove around Port Williams as we made our way back to Lunenburg. this is one of louise's "stop the car" scene. we got off the car and explored the fields. this reminded me of a fay godwin photograph of an excavator amidst a barren landscape. mine is a mechanical plough but the tilled earth against an expanse that reached the hills beyond, complete with a tilt in the horizon, essentially emulates godwin's style. here's the photo that inspired this: http://www.faygodwin.com/landmarks/im09/index.html (the 8th frame from the left)

Love the processing!

Perfect shot for this challenge! The texture and the shadows of the foreground work so well with the brightness of the sky.
