watching the boat as it keeled

relaxing after a long walk from ward island to centre island, and enjoying the unusually beautiful weather in toronto (well, until it rained in the evening), here's jackie @30pics4jackiesdiamond and her husband dave looking at a sailboat that was keeled (i don't know if that's the right term for a boat) on the shore at the far end of the beach. note toronto's CN tower in the background.

we spent a lovely afternoon walking two-thirds of the islands. later we had a lovely italian dinner before we met up with @northy at the university of toronto for the requisite 365ers at the arches shot.

jackie and dave, you must come back to canada. have some time to finish off toronto's sights and galleries, but the maritimes are one of our best east cost features - prince edward island, nova scotia, new brunswick and newfoundland.
