This is really beautiful! I seem to be having a tough time keeping up with everyone's second and third albums so I missed this one way back when. But here I am viewing it now and faving it too- what a beautiful shot Vikki. You really spotted something special when you captured this one. Wonderful simplicity and monochromatic colors. Excellent composition. It deserved to make it to the pp!
@olivetreeann - and then i missed your comment. i'm constantly having the same problem, ann. i couldn't seem to keep up and there's only a handful leaving comments on my photos. of course it doesn't help that these days, i have been feeling dizzy on and off. i thought it was high blood pressure but it's not. the doctor seems to think that the thing that's giving me pleasure (photography) is also giving me anxiety. what gives? so if i don't get to yours right away, i know you'll understand. thank you, ann.
@summerfield That's ok Vikki! I've had to adjust the amount of time I spend on here with Jeff being out of work. So at this point, I go through my comments and those who have commented always have their 365 album viewed. If I have extra time I go to my home page and scroll through what's current. I used to go through the "older photos" too but that's a thing of the past! I found that it was more stressful when I did several challenges at a time but limiting myself to one and allowing the second album to be more free form has really helped there. If there's a one shot deal challenge that comes up, great, I do it if I want but I don't pressure myself with that like I used to. So maybe relaxing some of your expectations and goals might do the trick. Also- if you're doing all three albums that might be stressful too- sometimes doing two is crazy enough for me. I have never posted anything in my third album and never will for that very reason- it would totally consume me to do 3 and the OCD in me would be obsessed with keeping everything current! lol
@olivetreeann - oh, the third album now replaces the original. i don't post anymore on the first album so i'm only doing 2 albums. i also comment based on the comments i receive from the current two posts or i go back two or three days. also, and maybe it's just the winter, but i feel like i'm running out of gas with ideas. i know my limitations so i won't even try doing things i know i can't do. thanks for listening, ann. you're a friend indeed.
