i remembered that i had a deck of tarot cards in my book shelf. it was still sealed in plastic. i had forgotten why i have them but i remember my cousin writing to me a few years ago asking for a deck of tarot cards to be 'blessed' by a wiccan. why i did it for her is beyond me. maybe i was curious and i only bought the tarot cards because they were on sale. the one in my book shelf is part of a book titled "the wisdom well" and nothing really to do with wiccan or anything of that sort.
in any case, i had to borrow from my girl in the mailroom some of her blings and she handed to me one bagful of blings - bracelets, bangles, earrings, necklaces and rings. i could only imagine how big is her cache of blings at home.
it was difficult to get the camera to focus and i was lazy to install the remote shutter. not feeling good after having too much pickled veggies, too sour and i'm starting to get sick.
this is also for the five plus two's theme this week which is 'fairytale'. i couldn't decide earlier if i was going to be the fairy godmother, the witch, the ugly stepmother or ursula. i took out my old size four-and-a-half pair of high-heeled shoes that i'm keeping for posterity. sad, when i came to canada in 1988 i was wearing that pair and now all i can do is look at it with fond memories. as i tell people, i used to be cinderella, now i've become the ugly stepsister. hahahaha!
so i decided i'd be lady merlin. without the crystal ball or the wand (because i forgot to pass by the dollar store to buy one), so the bling and the tarot cards would do. plus that silk scarf started to cling to my head as i was sweating, both from the heat and the malady i'm going through.
Well, you nailed this one! And I completely forgot that I am hosting this word! I shouldn't have taken it on when I was out of town! And now I need to post one picture for it too- I am totally loosing it!! This is fantastic though! And now to go look at all the others attached to this tag! Oh, and I have to find a picture to fit the word too... oh boy...

@summerfield You can blame that on my car. But I am hoping to be up in Batavia for Leigh's birthday- possibly in late October. Hopefully the axle work (or whatever it is that's making that humming sound) will be fixed by then.
