@northy and i met up earlier tonight to do some night shooting at the university of toronto. these arches caught our eyes and were beckoning us to photograph them.
northy had a fedora and a lovely umbrella for props and i had a grand time watching her do her photography. the bonus? i got to photograph her, too!
you might see these same arches, although in a slightly different angle, over at northy's. i have other shots showing the arches head on but later on i stood over to the side and noticed how the inside details were more visible so i moved over and took this shot.
it's terribly late and i can't open my eyes any longer. i shall catch up with you tomorrow.
this is for jerry plume's @orangecrush one night stand challenge. tonight it's 'nuanced night photography'. i suppose this easily fits the bill, doesn't it?

this came out awesome Vikki! i didn't process any last night - just went straight to bed... up early now to organize the easter egg hunt for my boys (and a second one for my much younger niece)...
can totally understand how you fell in love with this place - look forward to more shots from here ! the tones are wonderful and the detailed carving on the piers so great
