waiting for your order at the restaurant, what do you do? that woman at the next table eyeing you suspiciously thinking you're looking at her when in fact you're looking way past her to something more interesting; then covering her face with a magazine so that now she's covering your view of that something you see past her. turn the camera up then like what i did tonight. these low hanging light fixtures made me feel a tad claustrophobic after a few shots. then the pager went off so i got my take out order and scooted out.
the weather is really getting to me. i have no desire whatsoever to go out and take photos. tonight i couldn't force myself to go out again even though i have an idea for a tilt shift shot. hopefully the weather changes into something more tolerable on the weekend.
Call me crazy- I fav'd this. I like the randomness of the pattern, the pseudo-black and white feel, and the story that goes with it. When you can't shoot outdoors, shoot indoors- it's surprising what that step out of the comfort zone can bring, if you let it.
@olivetreeann - i smiled when i saw you fav'd this and looking at it before reading your comment i thought you would've made more interesting shots with this. i only took a few shots with the camera on the table facing up. but as soon as i saw them i thought "must take photo". now "must go back and take photo from different angles" :-D
@summerfield Well, the temptation of course would be to process it with crazy things like the hypnotic effect! And I would play around with it for a while, but I think I would come back to the original. It's really great as it stands. I wouldn't touch it.
