we call it Gombo in French ! But it doesn't grow in Europe I think Ive eaten it in Maroco ... with tomato sauce...very good !

@maggiemae - okra is a main vegetable ingredient in a creole/new orleans/louisiana dish called 'gumbo', primarily as a thickener as okra is slimy (yummy slimy) and is native to africa. thank you, maggiemae.
