finally, the flowers have started to bloom. at the little parkette two blocks from my apartment building, the daisies, lilacs, jonquilles, lilies and irises made their appearance all at the same time. but they were quite puny, unlike in previous years.
we had a power outage this morning and that gave me some opportunity to walk around before going to the subway as i was quite early. i didn't have breakfast so there was no way i was going to laze around so i might as well leave early and have breakfast on the way to work. i also brought with me a small spray bottle and i sprayed on this little daisy. the little fly didn't mind.
