i got that layering thing figured out. well, i think, i'm not sure. but i got this almost perfect. almost. not quite as i lost the shadow of the right figure. it looks smaller because i was sitting farther back than the two who were sitting on the edge of the bench. but, one off that bucket list! now, to see how else i could use this new-found knowledge.
i took the shots during my walk about at the islands last tuesday.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; they are greatly appreciately
@amandal - oh, yeah! i think partner is ready to call the city pound to have me committed. :-D not terribly happy with this, but i did it. last week's double me was sort of a cop out just so i could have a post, you know, copy and paste and lots of etsooi and cloning. this one was hard work. double thank you, kiddo, for your support and that fabulous fav! mwah!
@amandal - a group of students passed by and were laughing at me, said i was crazy and another said people who take selfies are egocentric. so i called them and asked if they would like to pose for me. but they didn't want to. i said if i had a willing person to practice on i wouldn't be taking self portraits. so that sort of humbled them and they apologized. other folks were doing double takes and just smiling. a toddler went to sit on the bench but i didn't take a photo and the parents were quite apologetic. i offered to take their family photo for free but they declined. hehehehehe!
@lesip - partner is using my old laptop and the links are there. i'll post in your album later when i get my laptop back. but i will be asking about the balloons!!! thank you, leslie, and thanks too for that generous fav.
@summerfield Oh gosh, the kids these days. Punks all of them:). That was nice of you to offer to take the families photo. "Hey, I'll tell you what. Get this brat outta my shot and I'll take your family photo for free!;-)"
Brilliant result! I thought for a minute you'd forgotten to mention being one of triplets :) I think the slightly different size makes it more realistic anyway :)
