the cardplayers by summerfield

the cardplayers

second attempt at the artist challenge paul cezanne. this is a parody, if you will, of his painting the card players.

tried my hand at that multiplicity tutorial using photoshop elements. spent a lot of time trying to understand the tutorials still it wasn't easy to follow. i even tried the german tutorial but i couldn't understand most of it either then i noticed it was a tutorial for a totally something else. :-P

then i did all sorts of stuff in ribbet, then in befunky, then in pixlr, then in gimp, then back to ribbet. i'm tired after all that back and forth. is there an etsooi going on?

and why is that coat making my butt look enormous? i swear i'm not that huge in the rear!

the link is here: http://www.paul-cezanne.org/The-Card-Players-large.html

thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated. btw, i sold the photo from yesterday. i copied it onto an SD card and the person himself will have it printed.

Hey I hadn't seen that one of Cezanne and I love it! Love your great effort too but who is going to win? Probably good that nobody is smoking that pipe!

Cezanne is amazed at your photo-processing knowledge and duly impressed with your paradoy. I don't officially know that, but I do know a good remake of a Cezanne when I see one!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Magnificent processing! Fav for sure!
Your tiny butt looks big because you are leaning forward and the coat drapes well past your front as any fool can see! ♥

Very nice interpretation of Cezanne....and, yes, ETSOOI'd to death!! No, that coat does not make your butt look huge.....just bright yellow!! So, I have been looking at Cezanne's paintings with all those nudes, and trying to figure out how I could get away with it! ;-))))
