beautiful sunshiny day in toronto with a high of over ten degrees, with a slight breeze. i went walking outside my office building and crossed over to the union station. i was going to get a cone of ice cream but once there, the big window hypnotized me yet again. so i just stood around and waited for people to walk across the window. i was fiddling with my camera when i looked up and saw this group of peeps walking across. i wasn't standing directly in centre of the window but a little bit to the right side. i played with the perspective in camera to get this at a decent angle. argh! sometimes i rue not eating my veggies when i was young or i'd have grown a bit taller. :-)
every time i see shadows like those above, "smiley's people" always come to mind. that's the title of a book by john le carré i believe. it's probably because the cover of that book that was published in manila at the time had little black silhouettes of people in the act of walking against a bright yellow background.
my tax preparation is coming along fine. there's just so much to sort out.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
Ha! Great capture! Love those shadowy people... There is something rather mysterious about those pathways, don't you think... Such a futuristic feel... It would be so cool to get up there to walk thru them one day :)
