i think this is chicory. this weed comes a-plenty around here in ontario. one of the most photogenic flowers in the wild. i have hundreds of photos of this flower during the last three years it's ridiculous!
what's also ridiculous is that i have a new camera but i haven't even taken it out of the bag. i think i might have left my mojo at the evergreen brick works. that and the fact that i have family visiting do not a photographic opportunity make. the good thing is my fridge is full of good filipino food; the bad thing is i can't eat them until i've had my blood works done tomorrow, and food will come so slow because i have a mammogram and bone density scheduled right after.
thank you for your kind visits and comments; know that they are truly appreciated.
Best wishes with the testing my friend. I really like chicory, but I think it's been years since I photographed it, must get out and shoot some, as it is also ubiquitous around here.
So delicate and such a beautiful colour. I don't envy you all those tests. Does remind me though that I have to organise to have some. I think I have put them off for far too long!
@summerfield@bill_fe I had to laugh because I used "ubiquitous" in a sentence with friends yesterday, and one turned to the other, laughing and said, "Isn't she *educated*! "
I love this beautiful photo, the splash of blue against the rest of the muted colours! Must go roaming and see if we having this plant growing here as well!
Good luck with the tests and enjoy the food when you can!
