mo @moniquenadeau and i took some time during the height of rush hour to grab some street shots. the golden sunlight peeking through the trees in the nearby building's terrace cast interesting reflection and shadows that made the union station building seemed like it's on fire.
while i didn't enhance the colours, i still etsooi'd it to remove a bike handle on the lower left, an orange pylon and orange sandbags strewn behind the suv in the foreground, a street sign that seemed to have cut the building in half, and the buildings in the background softened.
tagging this, too, for the six-word story challenge.
After the seeing the before photo, I'm even more impressed! Great shot, @summerfield! And thanks for coming out with me in the freezing cold. I still can't feel my fingers.
In the first place magnificent editing! One would never know you had deleted so many things! In the second-place creative imagination to see the " fire" on that building and excellent execution to capture it so well!
thank you, kind people, for your untiring visits and comments and i feel rather guilty for not returning the favour more frequently. the apartment problem still continues but the insurance is cleansing, packing and moving my stuff and will store them until i found a suitable place to move into. the landlord insists on only employing band-aid solutions insisting the unit is liveable. i hope that the next tenant is more aggressive than i am then again when i'm outta there, they can all go to hell. :-) while staying in a hotel can be fun, knowing that your own bed is only 10 blocks away doesn't make it fun, and not being able to cook (i am sick and tired of toast and butter every morning). on top of it all, i miss my billy.

Hope things settle soon.
