broke in my new pedometer courtesy of the office in preparation for our annual fitness challenge which will start next month. i had to really drag myself out because i have no motivation whatsoever to do any photographing. the trails are still bereft of greenery. perhaps i should've walked to the gardens but that would be too far. i was sweating by the time i got back and after 7,000 plus steps in an hour. i think uphill must be counted times 2 and downhill more, not sure. thing is i'm afraid to go to these obscure trails by myself. however, just beyond this bridge, there was a couple who was at it on one of the park benches and they're not even totally hidden. what's more they were both wearing neon coloured jackets. perhaps they were hoping i'd take a photo of them as the woman was even giggling, for heaven's sakes!
for week 16 of the 52-week challenge; the fare is to tell a story with leading lines. i guess, even if i didn't tell you what's beyond, there is a story innate in this photograph what with that branch of a tree peaking out in between the curved rails of a little footbridge.
Love the leading lines, probably best that we can't see past the brow of that hill! good luck with your fitness challenge. i think it's a good idea for uphill steps to count double!
