paul strand is my inspiration these days. i was shooting the lake from the boss' office when i looked to my left and this caught my eye: the reflected light from our building on the shadowed rooftop of the brookfield place building. it reminded me of a couple of paul strand's photographs of rooftops and pillars.
so that averted another kajama tall ship photo although my shots of that tall ship today was rather incredibly "nice", if i may say so myself. you will have to take my word for it because those shots may never get posted on here.
AN amazing compilation of patterns. light and shadows that looks alkl the worlid like a layered photo or one that is double exposed! Aces! congrats on the PP too
now, as i said, it is just one shot. when i'm looking at the lake from the boss's office, to my right would be the lake where i shot the tall ship from a week ago. to my left, the view is this https://365project.org/summerfield/365-still/2016-11-01. if i look below, the view is the rooftop photo above. the building on the right of the 2016 photo is one of the twin towers of brookfield place. the bottom portion of that building is the upper left of the rooftop photo. the shadows from the other brookfield building and the reflections from the angular bay windows of our office building really do mess up the viewer's point of view. thanks, folks.
