i was watching part of the airshow from my balcony when i heard some commotion from below. i looked and saw quite a number of people so i went back in to grab my camera but things have cleared in such short time that this was all that was left.
day 2 of the nf/sooc challenge by @vignouse richard sayer which i am mad enough to partake in. it's hard, especially when you see a shot and mentally compose it as you raise the camera to your face and find you're too close or too far. of course for me it doesn't help that my eyes are bad so what i see as sharp focus may not be in actuality. my nikon 50mm lens does not have a auto focus switch.
but a challenge is a challenge and i'm mulish enough to stick to a challenge when i accept it.
also, the jpg files were ridiculously large so i had to adjust my image quality setting in order to get the jpg file to a decent size.
In spite of all your perceived limitations this is a most excellent shot. It's a fantastic composition and although it may not have been what you envisioned initially it still has lots of interesting elements.
