what's for dessert?

the concept is a little bit easy but the execution and processing aren't so easy.

today's word is "dessert" and a sumptuous slice of red velvet cake is just the thing.

then i had to tie it in with week 44 of the 52 portraits of me challenge; the prompt this week is "alone".

so when it comes to cake and chocolate, nobody messes with me. i partake of them alone, i don't need to share it with anyone. sorry. :-)

This is great! Well worth the time and energy it took to do.
Reminds me of the silhouette cutouts I used to do when I was younger, I think we called them 'Shadow Boxes' and they were quite popular in Victorian times.
