i think the octopuses are an overkill. well, it's an octopus garden where octopodes are supposed to be in abundance, so there. talk about ETSOOI! there's only one octopus but shot twice, in black background and white background, then duplicated so many times i'm getting cross-eyed when i tried to count. there's also only one sea horse, duplicated and overlaid in ribbet. my photo was shot yesterday and that's the expression of my face when i have eaten so much i couldn't breathe. overlaid it on an old photo taken back when the white grandchildren were still my grandchildren. i cloned out the boy's image or i wouldn't hear the end of it from that broken side of the family. this is actually a large aquarium with nemo fishes (they looked like nemo, so...) so trust me when i say the fishies are real, and they put that thingamajigg in the center of it so people (more like children) can actually watch the fishies and have the feeling of being in the aquarium without drowning or catching and bringing home the nemos. this is one of the attractions in ripley's aquarium in toronto.
also for the final week of the 52-week photography challenge, this is the story segment and the story is my story. and what's the story? i have nothing better to do. i wasted my day waiting for the hawk to land again on my balcony but that didn't happen. damn pigeons kept chasing him elsewhere but my balcony. i should be weeding out my excesses in boxes but instead i wait around for the damn hawk and multiply the damned octopuses.
