before going to the bus stop to go to work, i went around the neighbourhood to capture some icy branches and to take a photo for my turn at five plus two. not a single soul was around the parks and the football field near the school. not surprising as it was -15 celcius and with a bit of wind it felt like -20. not bad really but i also meant to take frozen bubbles at the park. there was just one problem.
It is a beautiful capture of the snow and the sunburst puts the finishing touch on your photo. Maybe tomorrow you will have time to do a frozen bubble.
Lucky for us that you forgot the bubble machine. This is a great capture! Would be better if you could have caught some of those nut job yanks, though. ;)
@northy - no, -15 when i stepped out, but it wasn't really a biting cold, surprisingly even with the windchill. but i didn't walk very far, perhaps four or five blocks. the sun through the branches was gorgeous though.
You have captured the winter "ambience" perfectly with this crisp shot. Your temperatures were the same as ours but ours will warm up today and I am certain yours won't
looks like a worthy explore despite the lack of bubble maker. It is a wonderful starburst and seems to have some extra bonus colour in it too. (my apologies for hijacking your thread yesterday btw)
