red and white amaryllis

trust me, it's red and white amaryllis.

i was at the allen gardens yesterday to check out what offering they have for the spring season. turned out it won't be for another two or three weeks that they would have the spring blooms. in fact, the beds were almost stripped as only the perennials were on display, as well as the Christmas amaryllises.

we are doing textures this week for the flash of red february. as well, for the 52-week challenge, this week's theme is "fill the frame". this photo fulfills both challenges.
