i had wanted to feature our office building during the leading line and shapes week of flash of red but i kept forgetting, plus there had been plenty of days of bad weather. today, i tried to leave a bit earlier (after six) and still i went straight to the subway station and i had already swiped my pass when i remembered so i went back up. of course only to find that it had clouded over and the sky was already bereft of light.
in addition, my camera has a mind of its own. i swear i won't ever learn how to use this mirrorless thingie. it changes its settings to some ridiculous ones, like an f stop of 22 when i had previously set it to something much lower than that. methinks that whenever i turn off the camera, the little goblins inside it just turn everything to their own specifications and that pisses me no end.
anywho, i only managed four crappy shots and this before i almost threw the darn camera to the pavement but i thought that would be a foolish thing to do.
the month's calendar will be posted tomorrow.

five plus two's assignment this week is "icon" - join us and give your own interpretation with your self-portraits, just as i chose an iconic photograph which you can view here: https://365project.org/fiveplustwo/365/2018-02-28
I really like this. I have to agree with all that Katy @grammyn said. I like the moodiness of it. I do know what you mean about the gremlins in the camera. They visit my camera too.
well done for squeezing this into the month. It is quite an impressive perspective shot with the tower stretching out sky high with attitude. You were right to want to take it. As for the camera settings - tell me about it!
