time and space by summerfield

time and space

if time and space, as sages say,
things which cannot be,
the sun which does not feel decay
no greater is than we.
so why, love, should we ever pray
to live a century?
the butterfly that lives a day
has lived eternity.
- T.S. Eliot

i'm always thinking that i will give little blue a pair of eyes, a nose and a mouth and a pair of arms. to express himself, you know. but then i also thought i have no artistic notion in my body at all and he gets along fine without them so why bother.

i thought i wouldn't be able to fit in little blue for today's negative space prompt. and didn't realize the prompt was so obvious! all's well then.

for one week only's negative space challenge for today.
This is wonderful -- quite magical!

Well done. It is good to a dentist little blue is a space traveller.

Fantastic, clever image. I think little blue would look rather cute with some eyes :)

Please don't adorn Little Blue. Perfect without gimmicks!

I like Little Blue just the way he is! Love your Eliot poem and love this powerful image!

A fabulous image to say the least! An excellent response to the challenge. Very much like 2001: A Space Odyssey in content.

A clever way to capture all that negative space.

super cool - and no additional facial features or arms required. Little blue is fine as he is.
