wishing you weren't so far away

i so wanted to take her photo close up but i dared not go near her. she looked visibly upset with the rather severe look in her face. i contemplated asking her, but by the time i walked back near her she turned around to give me the evil eye, so i decided a sneak shot would do. from behind! :-D

for the six-word challenge and priming for the "one is the loneliest number" creative category of the 52-week challenge.
I do admire a woman on a mission who refuses to be beaten.

Perfect story title. I like your photo from behind.

Her body language shows she’s unhappy. Maybe the beautiful scene before her brought her some comfort.

Perhaps she wanted to be afloat??

Such a spectacular capture. I love the water and the boats and the inclusion of this solitary observer tells a very poignant story

This way, the viewer can decide what the mood of the photo is. I like your story, but the bright sunlight and sparkling water belies the unhappy mood of the subject.
