green devil tomatoes by summerfield

green devil tomatoes

a cluster of tomatoes at the brickworks. this angle and the sunlight make the tomatoes look like horned devils. next thing you know they turn around with fiery eyes and fanged mouths, leering at you. see, good thing i cannot eat raw tomatoes. they need to be cooked very well so they don't upset my stomach.

do you know that the lycopene in tomatoes increases as it is cooked? if i am a male (which thankfully i am not, nothing personal) i'd have a very healthy prostate from eating cooked tomatoes.

my onyx pendant from last friday made it to the final 5 for theme-periodic-table. go on down here to check out the finalists. although i predict #1 will win.
I like all the greens! Nice dof!

Totally fiendish! But why would anyone eat green tomatoes? Instant belly-ache IMO.

Yes, they do look a bit devilish! Although I like the red ones (not crazy at all for green ones), I've had to cut back on them. It does make a difference on the inflammation of my joints sad to say. Good shot!
