just before the sun rose from the horizon, out of the water, an explosion of colours -- pale yellows and baby pink, delicious orange and supple purple; a lone bright star cloaked in clouds of smokey grays and hazy violets; a lone airplane flew by, a tiny insignificant thing against the vastness of a fading obsidian sky. below, the world was wrapped in misty haze. then the world awoke, and we're back to the chaos of the everyday.
