the final challenge of the 52-week photography challenge is 'self-portrait' for the creative category. so here's a "creative" self portrait. good thing there's an artist challenge going on so i have an excuse to do a self portrait.
this is my take on natalia goncharova's "smoker" https://www.wikiart.org/en/natalia-goncharova/smoker-1911 i didn't have time to grow my 'tache so this depiction of the smoker is 'tache-less. but of course, the bowler hat got dusted for this shot as well as the pipe from another artist challenge a long time ago.
Imitation is the best form of flattery, or at least that's what I heard. Very creative. It sounds as if you live in small living quarters, but you have a great stash of props. note to self: visit thrift shops more often.
