the burning bush? by summerfield

the burning bush?

i noticed this during the church service yesterday morning -- the sun hitting the shiny leaves of this plant near the window near the altar. i was sitting on the last row of the farther pews so this was not the angle i first saw it which would've made for a better composition and shot. but of course, i couldn't just take my camera and shoot or it would've looked weird with the minister delivering her sermon. so i had to wait until the service was over and of course, the light's angle had changed. still, the leaves looked so pretty with that light coming in.
Your title is great for this lovely shot.

Light just makes everything better.

Pulling your camera out in the middle of the sermon probably wouldn't have appreciated :)

Isn't it so annoying when you know you have a good photo in the making but you daren't take it because of the circumstances or people around you? Some days I dare to, and other days not. That is quite a dramatic effect with the light on the leaves here.

I applaud you for refraining from taking the shot during the church service although I empathize with you in your desire to get that perfect moment in a photo. This is still an amazing shot.
