i love a good chocolate. sometimes i can be a glutton, having the same over and over again. the sales people at the old godiva shop all knew me when they still had a shop downstairs of my office building. but when i stop, i won't touch the thing for months. i can finish two bars of a regular size cadbury fruit and nut. i can finish this box in one sitting if i choose to.
in 1979 i was 26 and weighed 89 pounds. the first mr. summerfield was on a business trip to europe and asked me what i wanted him to get me. i said only chocolate. he didn't know which brand to get -- he's seen me devour a whole bar of suchard chocolate. what did he do? bought a smaller suitcase, put his stuff in his regular big suitcase and filled the his big suitcase with chocolate -- different sizes and all the big name brands of european chocolate candies. within a year, i weighed 140 lbs. and had to get help at the fat farm. in six months, i had trimmed down to 110 lbs.
i am partial to white chocolate, by itself or with nuts.
You must be now very tiny being only 110lbs! Not telling you my weight! I am the same - eat one, eat more. But mostly I refuse to even start because of that. When I was a young girl I spent my money on a bag of chocolate toffees and on the way home, I ate the lot. I was riding a bike but could not say anything for quite a while!
these are good chocolates. I can't stop at one, or two. And then when I have had three I think I have blown it anyway so might as well eat the lot and get them out of the way.
I like dark chocolate especially with salted caramel. We always stop at the Ghirardelli factory when we are in San Francisco. (It’s not a factory anymore, but still has the sign which is a prominent feature in the SF skyline.)
Ah, geez...I had to see this right before turning off the light. Now I’ll be craving chocolate. Dark for me. White somehow doesn’t seem like “real” chocolate. Really nice photo— I do like the white in there for contrast.

I can eat a bag of Bassett's liquorice all-sorts in one sitting, in the way others eat a packet of crisps!
