a close up of the crystal apple photo frame that the first mr. summerfield gifted me for my 26th birthday before i made him mr. summerfield. he got it during one of his business travels in europe from swarovski before swarovki crystals became so common place like today. it bears a black and white photo of myself that he took when we were still dating. i originally posted a photo of this thingie -- see here for size and perspective.
since i am out of ideas for a photo these days, i just might make this my same subject until this weekend. hopefully i'd get some of my phojo back when i go to chicago and meet up with @domenicododaro and @jyokota next week and get some much needed inspiration and motivation.
still busy at the office; as i am off next week until the day of the move, i have already started packing my station as well as my boss' office which i hope to finish by friday. so many things to do, so little time. i apologize if i haven't gotten to your albums yet, maybe i will have to purchase internet connection on the plane and do some commenting. what's a little dent on my retirement funds, hey!
Just checked out the earlier shot. Wow, that is a very impressive piece of crystal, totally beautiful. Have fun in Chicago, sometimes I wish I didn't live at the bottom of the globe and could do some of these sorts of things.
Your meet up sounds wonderful - I so look forward to seeing what you all get up to. I love the way the light singled out that little triangular face on your crystal apple, and the leaf detail is lovely too. Perhaps you will show the black and white photo that is contained within?
