a porter plane looks like it's gliding along the hydro wire. i sometimes pat my back when i find out i've gotten a perspective shot like this -- which is not very often. this, of course, was not a contrived shot. i was looking at the traffic behind me, waiting for some cyclist so i could do a panning shot. i don't know why i suddenly turned around and when i saw the plane in between buildings, i just clicked away.
september is done -- time is just pushing through, yes? for october though, i found a 30-day challenge from the canon website that should give me some kind of structure and hopefully motivation. they're very basic but i just have to try and be a little more creative.

so chuffed that my "two streetcars passing in the night" is parred with five other fabulous photographs for the monthly theme vote. vote for your favourite if you can -- you don't have to vote for mine, just choose what you think is the best photograph.
