top photo was taken on november 8 when we had a beautiful sunny, albeit cold-ish day. the middle photo was taken eight days later when a squall was over the lake and mist was starting to form over the horizon. the bottom photo was taken this morning, just before the winds set in and we are bracing for a slew of ice pellets, snow and freezing rain. yay!
and because i'm down with the flu, i haven't gone grocery shopping, of course, and i have to take my anti-biotics with food. i suppose the canned tomato sauce and the bag of pasta are indeed useful for a "rainy" day. (must find out if meds counteract with cheese.)
i will miss church today because i don't think it would be a good idea to be near the more senior folks even though i am on medication. i don't also think it would be a good idea to go outside during the storm just to take photos. that would be beyond stupid.
have to endure a headache as i quickly process and post this while i wait for the hour when i need to take my anti-biotics. i think i'm going to have a lie-down now.
Fascinating observations on weather. I like how the white water tank anchors the views across each version. Take CARE of you! Get well soon. And remember -- I order my food on Thrive and its delivered right to your house!
Your collage shows the vanishing skyline perfectly! I keep cans of Campbell’s s chicken noodle soup in my pantry for those times we don’t feel well. You are smart to stay inside today, the flu lowers your resistance. Sending get well wishes and hugs from Texas to you. 💐
I hope you will be well soon. Smart choice to stay inside during the storm. Do you have any family in the path of the typhoon that has been ripping through the Philippines? I'm saying prayers for the people there.
What a cool collage!! Interesting how the skyline can change. LA almost always looks like the middle pic haha but because of the rain it's been a lot clearer
