screw

promoting the current olivia parker artist challenge that claire @pistache is hosting. two weeks more to go but as you know days go so much faster even though we are bored to death with the lockdown. olivia parker uses props that are handy around the house. except for a reasonably sized nail which i don't have in my toolbox, as all i have are nails for hanging frames and they are not big. after a few attempts using my raynox macro filter, i was pulling my already sparse hair from frustration. so the screw is the next best thing and i even saved some of my hair.

here's the lowdown on the challenge: https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/43914/new-artist-challenge
I can sympathize with the pulling of hair! Trying to nail one of her composites has been insane. Nice adaptation with the screw.

I thought of lots of plays on words but then thought better of expressing any here! Love your imagination.

Nice! The Raynox can be tricky for sure, glad you have some hair left

This one is very true to the original too. Dad and I spent a good while looking for a reasonably sized screw when I was at his last time. Despite a garage full of diy pieces never thrown away, we failed. Otherwise, I could have attempted the same before putting up the hook.
