garlic à la olivia parker by summerfield

garlic à la olivia parker

another entry for the olivia parker artist challenge. couldn't find a square-ish white box so i have to make do with this rectangular one. also my garlic's skin had fallen off so you could almost see the cloves. i have one that still has the white outer peel but it had no tail like the one above. it's not a great emulation but just want you guys to get inspired and put in your own interpretation.

here's my recipe for garlic butter.
1.5 cups softened butter
half a clove of garlic, finely minced.
1/2 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup
mix well. fantastic with freshly-baked sour dough bread. to die for!

you can add more garlic if you're really into it. then kiss your beloved. 🤣 🥴 😜
Nice series... Nice work with simple colours and shadows.

Was just looking at the artist’s work today and when I saw this, I immediately associated it with her work...so you’ve done very well!

I prefer your garlic bulb, it looks more natural. That recipe sounds great thanks, I will add bit more garlic. That sure will make social distancing easier ;-)

Sadly, I need to look up Olivia Parker as I hadn't heard much about her work. Well done on the challenge!

Great picture for the challenge! I never put honey/maple syrup in my garlic butter, but will give it a try!

Excellent! You do have a way of creating an exact replica. Your recipe made me hungry!

Haha, I'm lucky that my beloved also likes garlic because I put a couple of cloves into my garlic butter. Now I'll have to try adding some maple syrup :))

Well done replica.

It is a very loyal reproduction of the original - despite the different shape box. Impressive. I have enjoyed taking a look at her work via your link. One of these days I will be inspired and create some space ..... (or so I keep telling myself)
