i've been wondering where i've placed the key for this lock. i have locks and keys that don't match around the apartment; some of them i didn't even know i have. one notable thing about this lock is that it is NOT made in china.
i've been looking closely at the products i buy these days. i think twice about buying something that is cheap. this afternoon i was at the grocery store and saw a pack of 4 oral-b toothbrushes for $4.99. my first thought was fake? then i read the bar code and the "made in" bit and it was made in india. immediately, the images of hungry, bone-and-skin children in deplorable conditions making those cheap toothbrushes came to mind. it was tempting for that price, but i didn't buy the pack.
who among you remember and had seen the series "amerika"? i remember watching some of it when i was still working in oman. our condo had in-house cable service and i've seen parts of the movie. the premise seemed far-fetched but with everything that's going on now, one just never knows! i think i should stop watching those "karen" videos; my brain is working overtime without pay.
this is a three-fer: for the macro-lock challenge, the six-word story challenge and the eye of the beholder challenge. wonder if i can make it a grand slam?
the keys with no locks and locks with no keys seems to be a common problem. I can certainly add to it. I love how your mind wonders and tells an all too important story here. there is so much to consider when making a purchase that it is easier not to shop at all.
Love the image.... I think we have several locks with no key andI know I have a container of keys with no locks. Of course I am squirrelling thekeysawayfor some amazing photo Ihave yet to create.....LOL
