spoon and snowdrops by summerfield

spoon and snowdrops

a terrible terrible headache sidelined me late in the afternoon. i decided to take a nap and woke up at two in the morning. so i told myself might as well go on back to sleep which didn't happen of course and i was awake until five. and now, i'm sleepy again. but i'm hungry and if you know me a bit, food has priority over all else.

WHEN IT RAINS, IT POURS! i don't know how it happened, but i'm suddenly running three challenges. might i interest you in any or all of them?

why not do a composite with dragons? i need entries for the composite challenge; you might want to take a crack at it. here's the lowdown: https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/44719/there-be-dragons-new-composite-challenge-34 even dinosaurs would do.

or

why not design an album cover: https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/44778/wanted-best-album-cover

or

take this easy challenge and even look back at your March posts to see if they're qualified because this challenge is backdated to March 1.

@merrelyn - a very severe migraine, from the abrupt changes in weather here in toronto. just a while ago there was snow, then sunshine, then dark grey clouds. when i can't focus my eyes, it sure is migraine. also when i close my eyes and i see kaleidoscope flashing, it means lie in bed and stay there until the world ends. horrible.

Clever photo Done exceedingly well for someone who is sick and sleep deprived. Ice cream or my "cure" should fix you right up!

So sorry about the migraine. It didnt spoil your creativity. The paintings are really lovely. I wish I could see more of them. But I am not complaining at what I can see - and the spoon trick done charmingly. This is definitely 'Aces!' Hope you are soon back to normal with a good night sleep behind you.

Wonderful creative idea!

A very nice reflection in the spoon. The colors in the background match those in the foreground with an overwhelming pattern.

So sorry to hear about the migraine- they are awful! I like this shot- the hazy background and the reflection in the spoon seem to go together. Well done!

This is wonderful, Vikki with amazing clarity of the reflection.
Congrats on hosting three at the same time! You are a busy lady! I will do the album and minimalism but my PS skills are too limited to do the composite.
Maybe some day ..... sigh!!
