i had my first dose of the vaccine today. the doctor from the hospital who was administering the shots (not my family doctor) was rather puzzled that i am not taking any medication for anything at all. he took some time to examine my file and looked at me for a long time. so i told him i won the good gene lottery jackpot and he burst out laughing. when he said he couldn't believe i am 68 i told him i couldn't either.
i had a slight dizziness and i was kept for a further 15 minutes then scooted out to go to the art store. to my dismay, i forgot that we are on a double lockdown so there's no in-store shopping. so i went home and stuffed my face with ice cream.
