this is one of my most favourite flowers. i gather them in may and their scent lasts at least a couple of months after they have dried. they do drink a lot of water though. these are the ones i gathered on saturday and yesterday.
i have old photos of this flower from nine years ago and i decided to paint a combination of two photos. i couldn't quite get the texture of the leaves. the flowers themselves surprisingly are a lot easier to paint than the other flowers i've painted considering the models were so tiny.
